This is a blog about recovery. All are welcome. Good vibes only, please.
In 2008 I approached South African author Joanne Jowell with a vision to to share my struggle with bulimia, addiction, and depression. I wanted to share the good, the bad and the ugly, and present what I was battling to find in the libraries: authenticity. In 2011, Finding Sarah: A True Story of Living with Bulimia, written by Joanne Jowell, was published under Pan Macmillan South Africa.

Now, ten years later, I’ve launched my blog to serve as an inclusive online community for those seeking or in recovery. Training in London with Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher StewG at ELSY and Iyengar teacher Khaled Kendsi, my focus, journey and goal is to help sufferers of addiction/trauma/abuse by introducing (sharing; teaching) Yoga as a path to Peace and to Healing — cultivating discipline, integrity, courage, strength, kindness, compassion, perseverance and hope.
