Rippling through time and space we find an historic, timeless spiritual guide which holds its relevance firmly in the present-day. This sacred book is The Bhagavad Gita.

LISTEN UP: YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Please, PLEASE read! This is a call-to-action to all on social media to SPEAK UP about your story, your journey, your struggles - speak about addiction, mental health; and inspire with stories of recovery. I am one among MANY who are still struggling, but am in recovery. Please may we start posting more honestly about our lives - this way we share the good, the bood and the very very ugly. In doing so we realise we have more in COMMON than we might have realised---our struggles are what can bring us together! I am here for anyone who feels alone, feels trapped and feels tired of hearing the narrative "you can't change". Because that is bullsh**! You CAN change! Please reach out to others - in your community; online - show LOVE is the catalyst to positive change. Kindness takes bravery, as does being authentic. Show others you are AGAINST bullying, against hatred in all its forms! My journey in recovery is still early days (three years, three months) - recovery from #drugs #depression #bulimia I hope to #volunteer & work with those in London & around the world struggling too! Here is an excerpt of my article (link at end) about my story; the plan now to help those - like me - who struggle with #mentalhealth & #addiction. "Beyond bulimia: A yogini's journey in learning, sharing, and cultivating positive change Under the theme of Maitri, meaning loving-kindness; friendliness, I am sharing with you a little bit about the reason I am here, sharing and posting videos and blogs. As I focus on continuing training, my hope is to begin connecting more with those struggling with addiction (eating disorders and other) introducing — sharing — #Yoga as a Path to Recovery; Peace; Joy—cultivating and nurturing a sense of discipline, integrity, courage and hope. The aim is to also learn from others' stories, addiction and recovery, so that we can grow, together, as a community and help others in whatever way possible."
